Omni SOR Kudos: Eagles Nest Regeneration and Planning District 1

We want to continue to highlight CSBs/agencies that are excelling at completing SUPRT A and C surveys, engaging and supporting clients, and demonstrating a ‘spirit of inquiry’ when working with our TA Team on SUPRT administration issues.

This month, we’re giving a special kudos to the Eagles Nest Regeneration and Planning District 1 teams!

  • Eagles Nest Regeneration has completed 38 SUPRT baselines so far in year 2 of the SOR grant, and all of those clients have also completed the SUPRT C survey.

  • Planning District 1 has completed 16 6-month SUPRT surveys so far, and 14 of those clients have also completed the SUPRT C survey.

We also want to give a special shoutout to Debbie Moore from Planning District 1 for her continuous spirit of inquiry and for ensuring that all client surveys are kept on track for her team.

As a reminder, the Client Engagement Sheet resource provides clients with more information on the SUPRT C, why they have been asked to complete it, and how it benefits them. It can be a great tool to encourage participation.

Virginia’s State Opioid Response (SOR) grant is awarded at the discretion of DBHDS and SAMHSA. All recipients of SOR funding supports evidence-based prevention, treatment and recovery services to address opioid and stimulant misuse and use disorders, including for cocaine and methamphetamine. The SOR grant is not intended to be utilized as a long-term or permanent funding source. All SOR proposals must include a realistic plan for financial sustainability beyond the grant period.
