Hospital-Initiated Recovery Services Dashboards

Recovery services are invaluable resources in hospitals, as they connect individuals coming in with substance use issues to longer term care after they leave the hospital. The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) State Opioid Response (SOR) grant team and OMNI Institute maintain this dashboard to educate legislators, program directors, and the larger community about Virginia’s hospital-initiated recovery programs, including peer recovery support programs based in the emergency department (ED) and other hospital departments, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Bridge programs, which offer MAT services in emergency departments for patients with opioid use disorder.

This dashboard displays the locations of Virginia’s hospital-initiated recovery programs, including peer recovery support programs based in the ED and other hospital departments, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Bridge programs. All information has been provided by individuals associated with the various programs and shared with permission.
