The SOR grant has funded substantial development of the peer recovery field in Virginia. The following reports and resources have been produced by OMNI Institute in partnership with DBHDS as part of the evaluation of the SOR grant. They contribute to the growing infrastructure of peer recovery services in Virginia and are meant to be resources for any organizations in the state providing peer recovery services. Peer Recovery Support Implementation Guides

Peers are a rapidly growing workforce in mental health and substance use recovery in the U.S. and bring unique value across multiple settings. These guides offer recommendations to address common challenges of peer implementation in three settings where peer work is growing.

Virginia SOR-Funded Recovery Initiatives

This fact sheet outlines recovery services CSBs and SOR partners offer and specific work accomplished in each area. Additionally, it outlines how this work has expanded the peer recovery field broadly and highlights original research resources developed by OMNI for the SOR grant that anyone can access to learn more about supporting others in the field doing similar work.
