Remote GPRAs & Gift Cards at Intake Interviews

We hope everyone is hanging in there! We appreciate all your efforts to support your community during this stressful time. While client service provision remains a priority, we wanted to communicate some recent updates from SAMHSA regarding the SOR grant.

First, we encourage your agencies to offer GPRA interviews via phone or video during this time, and SAMHSA has approved these additional methods for all GPRA interviewing (intake, follow-up, and discharge).

Encrypted Emails for Client IDs

As some of you are aware, the TA Team reaches out to agencies periodically to follow up on various GPRA issues (i.e. missing client ID numbers, incorrect interview dates, etc.). For confidentiality purposes, client ID numbers and other identifying information cannot be communicated via email. From now on, the SOR TA Team will be sending encrypted emails when contacting agencies about GPRA issues specific to an individual client.

Quarterly Treatment Survey

To most accurately report to SAMHSA on all SOR-funded treatment services at CSBs and FQHCs, OMNI is collecting information through a brief, quarterly treatment survey.

We will be using this survey to capture information on all SOR-funded treatment services, which are not fully represented by the GPRA, due the exclusion of GPRA administration for some SOR-funded services. Results from this survey will assist OMNI in reporting CSB and FQHC work to SAMHSA to meet grant requirements.
