Dear SOR Subrecipients,
SAMHSA recently informed us of an upcoming transition from the GPRA to a new client-level data collection tool that will go into effect on October 1, 2025, with the start of the new year of SOR funding. More details about this tool will be shared as soon as possible.
As part of this transition, SAMHSA has ended all data collection using the GPRA tool effective August 30, 2025. We advise you to immediately stop all data collection using the GPRA tool.
For any GPRA surveys that you have already administered, please make sure they are entered in our online system by end of day on September 11, 2025. We will close the online surveys after that date and no longer accept new GPRA data.
More comprehensive information will be shared soon, but in the meantime, here are a few updates based on the current information we have:
Individuals who would have completed a GPRA Intake or Follow-Up between now and September 30, 2025, will be asked to forego GPRA follow-up completion and instead complete the new tool after October 1, 2025.
After October 1, we will restart tracking sheets and provide updates on when Follow-Ups are due for individuals that have previously done an Intake GPRA.
As the transition date approaches, the Omni technical assistance team will provide training, individual technical assistance, and resources to support SOR subrecipients. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to us, and we will provide answers as we are able.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership and your commitment to high-quality data collection and reporting.
Sincerely,
The Omni Team
