VASOR Focus Groups

OMNI Institute will host 3 different focus groups with CSB leadership to evaluate important aspects of the Virginia SOR grant. In addition to the surveys sent to staff administering the GPRA, OMNI would like to engage leadership in a rich discussion to evaluate organizational impacts. Sessions will be conducted through Zoom and we will provide a link for registration. Each session will be scheduled for an hour and 15 minutes, with about an hour of focus group conversation, covering the following areas:

    • Challenges and Barriers

    • Lessons Learned and Recommendations

  • Sustainability

    • Maintenance

    • Challenges

    • Enhancement

  • COVID Impacts

    • Successes

    • Challenges and Barriers

The focus groups will have a maximum of 12 participants, and we would like to invite you to register for one of the three groups that will be offered during the following dates:

The non-Federal entity must disclose in writing any potential conflict of interest to the Federal awarding agency or pass-through entity in accordance with applicable Federal awarding agency policy. Virginia’s State Opioid Response (SOR) grant is awarded at the discretion of DBHDS and SAMHSA. All recipients of SOR funding supports evidence-based prevention, treatment and recovery services to address opioid and stimulant misuse and use disorders, including for cocaine and methamphetamine. The SOR grant is not intended to be utilized as a long-term or permanent funding source. All SOR proposals must include a realistic plan for financial sustainability beyond the grant period.
